The Little Alsatian Winemaker is an early statue by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. It is located in the southwestern corner of the covered market.

The round basin is embedded in an ornamented niche. On top of the fountain there is a statue, created by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi in 1869.
The little Alsatian winemaker is one of the earlier works of this famous French sculptor.
The original statue was replaced by a copy and moved to the Colmar Bartholdi Museum in 1986. A second copy became a gift to Colmar's American sister city Princeton.

Le bassin rond est intégré dans une niche ornée. Au sommet de la fontaine il ya une statue, créée par Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi en 1869.
Le petit vigneron alsacien est l'une des œuvres précédentes de ce célèbre sculpteur français.
La statue originale a été remplacé par une copie et a déménagée au Musée Bartholdi à Colmar en 1986. Un deuxième exemplaire est devenu un cadeau à Princeton, la ville jumelée américaine de Colmar.
