At the start of the Camino Primitivo in Asturias navigating through the city was tricky.
This marker was at an important point of the road. It is also interesting to point that in Asturias, the Way of St. James is indicated by the shell pointing the way on the narrow end of the shell, whereas in Galicia it is the other way around.
