Clyde Barrow was an afficionado of Ford V8 cars and took great pains to steal theses during his and Bonnie Parker's crime run from 1932 until their demise in 1934.

The car, complete with bullet holes, was stolen in Topeka, KS. After the shoot-out on 23 May, 1934, the car was returned to its owners. The car was sold to a travelling carnival for $3000 and displayed at various carnivals and fairs.

It was eventually acquired by Primm Valley Resort And Casino for $250,000 and put on display in Whiskey Pete's, just off the main casino floor, along with several other artifacts from the Bonnie & Clyde era.
