This Concorde is an exposure model of the Delta Museum Athis-Mons, near Orly airport. This is a preproduction model 02 recorded in 1971. He has to his credit 314 normal flights, 189 supersonic flights totaling 938 flight hours. Its last flight took place on 20 May 1976.
Concorde 02 F-WTSA is the fourth aircraft that have been manufactured, and the second of the preproduction. He was the first Concorde landing on US soil in Dallas (Texas) on September 20th, 1973. He then made ??his first transatlantic commercial flight with passengers for the return.
During the tests, the aircraft was painted in the colors of British Airways on one side, and Air France on the other although it is registered as French. In the early 2000s, it was completely painted in the colors of Air France before returning to its original colors .
The last flight of Concorde preproducted series held between Toulouse and Orly, from 3:19 p.m. to 4:26 p.m.. It was then bequeathed to Aéroports de Paris.
In 1988 , ADP decided that the Concorde 02 was no longer a priority and in turn bequeathed it to the Delta Museum, not far from the airport.
