This new facility, a Junior Bike area, has been designed for children to learn to ride their bikes in a safe environment. A mock road complete with road signs, give way, stop signs and traffic lights will help you to teach your children core road safety skills.
This special training park is for learners use only. The track primarily caters for children under ten years of age who haven't had much experience on the road. There is also a fenced matted space within the track specifically designed for little legs under three years.
The track is situated next to the May & Peter Harris playground on Marine Parade, Napier. There is a parking area beside it and the training area is fenced with self-closing safety gates. Helmets must be worn and Adult supervision is required. Parents can enjoy bringing their children and bikes to the track, teaching them new road skills and then watching them practice in the safety of this facility.
