The platform on Eckardsberg has two current orientation tables, and also a very old one.

Eckardsberg, the hill south of Breisach, has a platform on top that was a castle once. There are three orientation tables on this platform.
The two modern ones are based on photos, they describe the most important towns and mountains in the view. To the west the Vosges Mountains and to the East the Black Forest.
Next to the eastern table there is also a very old one; e semi-circular copper plate with engravings. Most of the text is completely fainted and impossible to read, but the horizon line and the directions are still visible.
