The Briar Creek Bridge once took traffic across Briar Creek on FM 3051, northeast of Corsicana, TX, but today, it sits, abandoned, having been bypassed by a new bridge in 1999.

Bridgehunter calls this one a "Unique 4-slope polygonal riveted Warren pony truss", and it has the following vitals:

Length of largest span: 78.1 ft.
Total length: 79.1 ft.
Deck width: 10.8 ft.

The National Bridge Inventory isn't very helpful, as their information covers the replacement bridge. The bridge sits on the south side of FM 3051. Parking can be difficult, due to the incline, and the listed coordinates are to a semi-flat spot just east of a dirt driveway. Please don't block anybody's access.
Parking Coordinates:: N 32° 07.468 W 096° 26.049

Length of Span:
78.1 feet
