The Lantz Funeral Home, Inc. began with Carl A. Lantz when he moved his family from Mt. Pleasant, PA and settled into Uniontown, PA 1924. In 1928, during the Great Depression, he established the current funeral home located at 297 E. Main St, Uniontown, PA. Carl operated the business for 42 years, and in 1970, his daughter, Muriel E. Lantz Bailey went on to operate the business until 2010, and today her great-nephew, Aaron S. Lantz currently operates the funeral home.
