"Main Street United Methodist Church began in 1852 as one of the Mississippi Coast’s earliest churches. The church, which has been located in the heart of Bay Saint Louis’ Old Town for over 150 years, has had a long and colorful history. It has grown and changed alongside the community riding out Hurricane Camille and Hurricane Katrina, and exists to live out our command to love God and our neighbor.
We are an invitational and inclusive church and exist to connect others to the love and grace of God as well as grow, strengthen, and challenge the faith of our members. At Main Street, you will find the love and fellowship of a neighborhood church in the heart of what Budget Travel Magazine named one of “Coolest Small Towns in America!” "
