I did not walk it, no time. I was on my way home from Dallas, GA. When, by accident I found this trailhead.

I was neither dressed nor prepared to do a hike. I was traveling out of Georgia, headed back to Missouri, saw the historic marker, stopped, saw the trailhead. I explored a bit up the road, then headed out.
I have no first hand knowledge of the trail itself. Trail is 5.8 miles long.
