Ford built about 3/4 million of these tractors between 1917 and 1929.
This example was built no earlier than 1923.
Henry Ford used the names Fordson for two reasons: one to indicate the family business, and two the Ford Tractor name was already in use.
Fordson quit making tractors in 1928 to concentrate on Model A production lines.
Production was resumed, this time under the Ford name, in 1939. In 1964 Ford and Fordson of Ireland were merged under the Ford umbrella.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion
