"Fonte elaborada segundo um desenho do artista lamecense João Amaral.
Inicialmente estava situada no Largo de Camões, mas foi transferida para o atual lugar em 1928.
Situada num local privilegiado e bem visível, é uma das mais conhecidas de Lamego. Tem duas bicas que jorram água abundante e de boa nascente.
Ao centro foi esculpido um escudo com as armas de Lamego, debaixo do qual consta a data de 1906."

"Fountain elaborated according to the drawings of the artist João Amaral.
Initially was located in Largo de Camões, but was moved to the present location in 1928.
Situated in a privileged and clearly visible place, is one of the best known of Lamego. It has two fountains spouting plenty of water and good spring.
