Riverside Park in Kamloops was begun in 1905, on the former site of a lumber mill and a pig farm. Since its inception it has been the major park in the city, with the greatest number of amenities. It is far and away the most used park in the city.

Along with all the other amenities available in this park is this lawn bowling facility, situated on the southern edge of the eastern half of the park. It's a beautiful grass court, likely bent grass and well manicured. It has wooden stops and benches all around. The court has a large clubhouse and there is a parking lot immediately south.
