On the corner of Baker Street and 12th Avenue, this United Church is on the eastern edge of downtown Cranbrook.

Erected in 1929 of brick and stone, this is possibly the grandest church in Cranbrook. Certainly we've not seen a larger one in town.

With a steeply pitched roof and a large bell tower on the transept to the west of the sanctuary, this is, architecturally, a "busy" building, with annexes and attachments on all sides. No boxy cube, this church. The tall brick chimneys are nice touch.

On the west wall at the northwest corner of the building is the cornerstone, apprising us that it was laid in 1929.
