Nathan Louis Winfield son of Jake Winfield and Nellie English. Retired Banker.His son Nathan Louis "Nath" Winfield, Jr. was the co-author of "Cemetery Records of Washington County, Texas, 1826-1960" and several other local history books. The actual inscription reads:
