This 12-pounder bronze Napoleon (Howell's Georgia Battery) is located along a wooded path, north of Alexander Bridge Road and east of Lafayette Rd in the Chickamauga National Battlefield. It marks their location on Sept, 20, 12:30 pm.

This 12-pounder bronze Napoleon is located near the marker to Howell's Georgia Battery, in recognition of their service during the Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. It marks their location on Sunday, September 20, 1863, at 12:30 am. The battery was commanded by Capt. Evan P. Howell.

To reach this cannon from the parking area on Alexander Bridge Road, there is a path near the 2nd Battalion Georgia SS (CSA) monument that leads in a northeasterly direction. Follow this path to the monument.
