This station is a National Geodetic Survey standard vertical control disk, located off U.S. Route 7 & 202, on Old State Road, in New Milford, CT. This section of Old State Road runs behind the Windmill Diner. The mark is located on the southwest abutment of a small bridge with steel pipe railings:

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1984 2.8 KM (1.75 MI) SOUTH FROM NEW MILFORD. 2.8 KM (1.75 MI) SOUTH ALONG U.S. HIGHWAYS 7 AND 202 FROM THE JUNCTION OF PICKETT DISTRICT ROAD IN NEW MILFORD TO THE MARK ON THE LEFT, IN TOP OF THE SOUTHWEST ABUTMENT OF A BRIDGE OVER A SMALL STREAM ALONG OLD STATE ROAD, 42.82 METERS (140.5 FT) SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 4.88 METERS (16.0 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER OF OLD STATE ROAD. THE MARK IS 0.30 M BELOW OLD STATE ROAD.

The description is adequate, but if you're traveling north on Rt. 7 from the junction of Still River Drive, take a right onto Old State Road to the mark on the bridge.
