The trig, erected in 1974, can be accessed via the Coomies Walk which starts near the reserve's parking area. You pass an aboriginal rock shelter, traverse the creek & then climb gradually to the trig. There is a lookout a few metres away - the Trig Lookout - which has views over the reserve in all directions. The return walk will take about 90 minutes.
