The Pill Box lies to the north of the Welsh Bicknor Bridge and is part of the war defences in this area. Over the River Wye are bridges which carried the railway and the defences protected this vital infrastructure.

It is possible to enter the Pill Box and the gun emplacement openings are in good condition. It lies in the soil under the trees, near a stream.
