The marker takes the form of a wooden cross, featuring a glass oval with a photo of Mrs. Mills, with her husband, Dickie Joe, whose personal information will be added when he is buried here some day. There is a horseshoe below the center section, and a woodburner has been used to enter the inscription, which is painted in black:
Brenda Button
Mills
July 27 1946
Feb 15 2010
Dickie Joe
Mills
July 26 1942
There are photoelectric lights at the base of the cross, and inside the planters at the corner of the base that supports a memorial bench. The monument is trimmed in white piping, which is probably glow-in-the-dark material.
