Taken from Wikipedia, "The McLean House in Appomattox, Virginia is a structure within the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park. Wilmer McLean owned the house, which in 1865 served as the location of the surrender of the Confederate army of Robert E. Lee. The reconstructed house was registered in the National Park Service's database of Official Structures on June 26, 1989."
