Built in 1994 as an Eagle Scout project (Waymark WMN3JN), the 30' x 3' x 4' deck girder is constructed of treated lumber. It is the first bridge now reached along the Appalachian Trail when heading northbound out of Erwin, TN - cross the small Jones Branch stream.
