"Nejstarší pražské nádraží. Puvodne zde zacínala nákladní Lánská konesprežka, která od r. 1830 sloužila zejména pro dopravu dreva z Krivoklátských lesu. Dopravní spojení do mesta zajistila Chotkova silnice. Z doby vzniku nádraží, z r. 1831 pochází i puvodní nádražní budova, která v upravené podobe dosud stojí za kolejištem naproti soucasné budove."

The oldest railway station in Prague. Originally there was beginning freight Lánská Railway, which from r. 1830 was used mainly for transporting wood from Krivoklát. Transport links into town ensure Chotkova road. From the time of origin of the station, from r. 1831 comes the original station building, which in modified form still worth trackage opposite the present building.
