Long Description:

Metal Detectors may be used on National Forest Lands for recreational detecting only.The following are prohibited uses and activities while using a metal detector on National Forest Lands.

-Use of a metal detector in an Archaelogical Forest Lands.

-Digging for buried objects.

-Use of a metal dector for commercial gain.
