"Leafy Phoenix" is a kinetic sculpture by Andrew Carson created and installed outside Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts on the Quadrangle in Springfield, MA in 2014. The colorful bird-like 4' by 4' glass and copper kinetic sculpture pivots on top of an 8' pole. In the wind the tail feathers act as a spinning propeller to rotate the sculpture 360 degrees around the pole.
A sign next to the sculpture is inscribed:
