County of bridge: Gordon County
Location of bridge: Old Dixie hwy & US 41, N. of Adairsville

This is still a part of the Old Dixie Highway, this bridge was abandoned when US 41 was re routed between Adairsville and Calhoun in Georgia.
The bridge has highway scrap debris piled up on the one end and a barricade on the other. Oothkalooga Creek no longer flows under the highway , but now goes south at this point. The highway (now local road) does a little dip to get around bridge and the new bridge on US 41 is almost unnoticeable.
