This marble plaque is fixed to the north-east pillar of the tower and commemorates four of the local ringers who gave their lives in the Great War. These four ringers are also remembered on the village war memorial on the village green opposite the church. The plaque reads:-

                               OF RINGERS
                          IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF
                          THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS
                          WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
                            IN THE GREAT WAR
                                1914-1919.
