Since 1973, when rafting pioneer Bernie Fandrich began the first whitewater rafting business on the Thompson River, Kumsheen Rafting Resort has guided over 250,000 guests down the mighty Thompson and Fraser rivers. They're considered one of the top rafting companies in Canada, with an outstanding safety record.

Their signature trip is the full-day trip down the Thompson River. The 6-hour tour makes its way down 40 kilometres of the river from Spences Bridge to Lytton, passing through 40 sets of rapids while guests wind their way through stunning, rugged, semi-desert scenery. Founder and owner Bernie Fandrich named most of the river's rapids and has written two guidebooks about the Thompson, so Kumsheen has a lot of experience on the river.

In addition to their full-day Thompson River trip, there's also half-day and two-day trips, as well as a full-day trip on the nearby Fraser River. Kumsheen is also a resort where guests can stay overnight in teepees, canvas cabins, or by setting up in their campground or RV sites.
