From the history of the castle:
- the first mention of the castle from the years 1219-1222
- in 1467 the castle was conquered army of King George of Podebrady
- in 1567 the castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau
- in the 18th century unfinished Baroque reconstruction
- today the castle is mostly in ruins, but in partial conservation work
