Cairns Swimming Lagoon is a vast 4800sq m salt water swimming facility containing crystal clear seawater. The five stainless steel woven fish sculptures and fountain, by artist Brian Robinson, were installed on the Cairns Esplanade in 2003 for the opening of the Lagoon.
