The Kennesaw Train Depot still sits next to the tracks right in downtown Kennesaw.

Kennesaw's depot was built in 1908 by the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway, which leased the state-owned Western & Atlantic Railroad in 1890. The Depot was used as a freight and passenger depot. In the early 1920s the front was extended and two passenger waiting rooms were added. Recently rehabilitated and reopened on April 21, 2001, the building now houses a museum of local history. This 1,280 sq. ft. historic structure contains museum exhibits, displays and railroad artifacts. The Depot is used for community group meetings and is a centerpiece for special events throughout the year including summer concerts and the Lighting of the City Tree. When I was there the museum was not open though. I got a couple of pictures though the glass.
