John Duggan was the chairman of the Parks Trust in Milton Keynes from its inception in 1991 until his retirement in 2011.

This totem was commissioned by the trust and executed in timber by Robert Koenig and has been placed at the junction of two of the footpaths through Campbell Park. Nearby is the bronze plaque describing the placement set in a circle of granite sets.
