Between the locality called Boslimpré and Maxerelle The road through the forest in southwestern Clefcy .This event is so tragic it is only a particle of a huge air battle that took place that day there above the greater GERARDMER.American fortress falls on the heights of
the Maxerelle (commune of Ban-sur-Meurthe), 7 of its occupants are killed and are buried in Cemetery Clefcy, 4 other airmen will hide in the farms until the Liberation.
