Akins Cemetery is located near the small Sequoyah County community of Akins, on OK SH 110. This cemetery is a peaceful resting place for about 1000 people, including the infamous bank robber and participant in what became known as the Kansas City Massacre of 1933, Charles Arthur "Pretty Boy" Floyd.

For more on Floyd and the Kansas City Massacre, which ended the public's fascination and favorable impression of bank robbers as modern-day Robin Hoods, see: (visit link)
