Mosquito monument in Woubrugge (municipality Kaag en Braassem) is dedicated to the pilots of the crashed Mosquito aircraft and thus to all who gave their lives for peace, freedom and democracy. De Haviland Mosquito collapsed on the night of 21 on July 22, 1944 down in a pasture at Woubrugge. Pilot Francis L. Grimwood and navigator Frederick B. Woodman died during the crash.
The rest of the remains can be seen in the Crash museum in Aalsmeerderbrug.
