The plaque says, "Katherine B. Loker Center The White House East Room. This block of Aquia Creek Sandstone quarried on Government Island Stafford County, Virginia was removed from the United States Capitol. The White House was also built with Aquia Sandstone. Presented by Stafford County during groundbreaking ceremonies President's Day 2003 Yorba Linda, California"
