The clock is located near the train station. It is also across the street from the Ephrata Post Office.
I have been unable to find out the history of this clock. If my memory serves me right this may be the same clock face that was from the downtown clock that used to be in front of the old Baker's Jewelry on Basin Street. The original clock was a very nice old style clock, blue in color. I'm thinking the clock was hit by a vehicle and this is the semi-restored clock.
The clock is inscribed with "Kiwanis". It looks like they may have sponsored the salvaging of the clock. Kiwanis International is a non-profit service organization. There is a local chapter in Ephrata.
