Near Hummelstown, within Indian Echo Caverns, are several graffiti names and and advertisement from an old pretzel factory.

To get to Indian Echo Caverns, from Route 322, take the Middletown Road exit for Hummelstown, then turn south AWAY from Hummelstown and look for the sign on the right for the caverns. Drive down the driveway to the end where the gift shop and the cavern is located. After paying the fee and waiting at the appointed time, a guide will lead you into the cavern.

The graffiti is in the first room. Letters are painted on the walls of the cave. Many are painted red, while others are black. The majority are names, presumably from people in the area. According to a blog, one of the names has the year '1858' next to it. One set of words reads, "In Lebanon, Buy Roush's Pretzels." According to our guide, this company ceased to exist about 125 years ago.

Not fancy, but pretty neat to see.
