The Gorges de Regalon is the narrowest and darkest canyon of Provence. It already offered in the Stone Age hunters shelter and today provides a habitat for rare plants and animals, so that the area is under special protection. The paths should not be left.
The walls are sometimes only a meter apart and extend up to 40 meters in height. Almost 2 meters high rock is to climb out of the gorge. Especially after rain, when the rocks are slippery, it already requires some skill. The crossing of the gorge takes about an hour..
