In York, along Princess Street, is the York Agricultural and Industrial Museum.

The museum is located on the north side of Princess Street, and east of a park along the creek.

The museum is part of the museums managed by the York County Heritage Trust. It is within an old factory that used to make radiators. Inside, after paying the admission (or showing the ticket bought at one of the other museums), proceed into the exhibit area. One area has displays of transportation, including cars that were made in York. In another room, there are agricultural equipment and a mock up of a mill. In another room are exhibits of all sorts of products, from false teeth to pianos, to barbells, and lots of other things.

York has had a notable history in industry. Many well-known companies either started in York or had a significant presence here. Companies include York Barbell, York Safe and Lock, Harley Davidson, and several candy companies - the most famous product of which was the York Peppermint Patti - which was until recently made in York.

Allow for about an hour and a half to go through the museum.

The admission price, $15 for adults, is good for all of the museums on that day.
