The Frost Bank Tower was the first skyscraper in the United States to start construction after the September 11, 2001 attack. It was the tallest building in Austin until 2008.

The Austonian in 2010. It is the tallest building in Austin, not located on Congress Avenue.
The silvery blue color glass facade has only been used once on one other building in the world, 3 Times Square, also known as Reuters Building in New York City.
