BNSF-Railroad, Verdigris River Bridge, built in the late 1950's when the McClellan-Kerr canal was constructed, this high truss railroad bridge is a landmark to those getting their kicks on Historic Route 66 in the Catoosa & Verdigris area, OK.

"Overview Polygonal Warren through truss bridge over Verdigris River on BNSF Railway Location Rogers County, Oklahoma Status Open to traffic History Built c. 1960DesignPolygonal Warren through truss railroad bridge over the Verdigris River channel of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. Bridge was probably raised around 1970 to provide additional clearance for the channel. :Catoosa Elevation 580 ft. above sea level.
