The Public of Vinita, and Route 66 travellers have been enjoying the Movies at the Center Theatre for over 90 years. The Date Stone is obstructed by the Neon Marquee sign, but it appears, to be dated 1920.
"Center Theater first opened in 1922, one of the earliest theaters constructed in Oklahoma, featuring live entertainment and movie releases on its single screen. Now completely remodeled with three screens, Center Theater is part of the Center Cinemas group comprised of Cinema 6 of Grove, in Grove, Oklahoma; Allred Theater in Pryor, Oklahoma; and Siloam Springs 6 theater in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Located at 124 South Wilson, Center Theater shows new releases in both 2D and 3D. Evening ticket prices are $7 for adults, $6 for children ages 3 to 11, and $6.50 for seniors ages 62 and up. 3D films have a $2 surcharge." Text Source: (
