Playing at 6966 from the blacks, this is almost a 7,000 yard course, with beaches and water scattered throughout. Besides the river, there are also several ponds on the interior of the course. Though the river is somewhat off the fairways, the course is laid out such that the river is on the right on some holes and the left on others. Built on an old river delta, the course is quite flat. We visited the course in early spring when the course was just greening up, it will look better in the summer.
Architects for this course are
Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt.
The clubhouse is brand new, with a nice 19th hole and restaurant and a well stocked pro shop. The clubhouse is off Deer Creek Road on the far eastern edge of the course. Access Deer Creek Road from Highway 200 via Speedway Avenue.
