There are no yellow painted mark on poles or nearby kerbing, but there is a stamped "Approved Area Marker - The City of Newcastle" on the concrete near the box. I assume this is to specify an area where businesses can place their outside chairs and tables.
What appeared to be a 'homeless man' was intently watching me while I removed some dirt from the box to expose the location pin. But he had a good knowledge of benchmarks.
