High Four - Northglenn, CO - Sit-by-me Statues on Waymarking.com

I first saw this statue at the E.B. Rains, Jr. Memorial Park which features a rotating collection of outdoor artwork while completing a puzzle Geocache. This statue was both a joy to view and part of the puzzle. I was amazed to find this fellow again a couple of years later at his permanent place in a small Northglenn (CO) Park (while completing a different Geocache). I am a dog lover and this sculpture has such a natural expression that a Great Dane would have.

High Four is available from the artist at her (visit link) website (she specializes in Great Danes). There were 20 of this size cast (10 with natural ears, 10 with cropped ears). The City of Northglenn purchased this piece as it won the People's Choice award. One of the others is located in the Benson Sculpture Park in Loveland, CO.
