This really big rod, complete with fish, is beside Callahan Creek which crosses under Highway here, at Callahan Creek Cutoff Road. There's a pullout and a small parking area for the curious.

We'd say that the rod is a good twenty feet in length and has a fly reel on it close to a foot in diameter. This isn't the only one of these "sculptures" in the vicinity. There is another identical one in Libby, several miles further east on Highway 2. The creator/sculptor didn't leave a calling card.

This fishing rod is a Roadside America roadside attraction.
