Location of Station: MO Hwy W, 2 miles NW of Hannibal
During the 40s and 50s this was a very popular over night stop on any trips to northern Missouri. This stretch of road was US-61, the major northern road in eastern Missouri.

This is an abandoned site, even though someone cuts the grass and keeps the gas station area looking nice.
The motel, or cabins if you prefer, are not kept so well. Even tough all are still intact, they are being overtaken by nature.
The gas station sign is still standing, but the motel (cabins) sign is long gone.
There use to be glass - round lighted signs on top of each pump, they are now broken and gone.
