Long Description:
Upgraded base for this beacon between two cannons on Mowbray Ridge below the King's Blockhouse. With great views stretching from Lion's Head around to the Muizenberg Mountains taking in Cape Town and the Cape Flats.
Altitude (m): 435

Beacon Type: Peak

Beacon Construction: standard beacon on reconstructed concrete plat 3m high with all the vanes present - it seems the whole beacon was upgraded and painted.
