From the intersection with FR370 near Three Creek Lake, south of Sisters, travel generally S on FR16 for 0.9 mile. Park and hike generally S on the Tam McArthur Rim Trail for 1.0 mile to the wooden wilderness boundary sign.

PLSS sixteenth corner T17S R9E S23 N 1/16 COR is about 920' E from the trail, and the present mark bears W, about 11' distant from the corner.
